well there you go. i'm 21 and 21 weeks.
nelly and i decided just on thursday that we're going to Melbourne on wednesday, for three days. Because there's an art exhibition there. i've done budget trips to Sydney (dec 08) and Canberra (feb 10) already, for art exhibitions. we fly no-frills, with carry-on luggage only, and stay at a backpacker's hostel in the middle of the city, and do lots of walking. i think i may need to find new reasons to visit darwin and perth at some point, though. they don't often get fancy art collections to show. (we can visit adelaide whenever we want - we have family there.)
however, melbourne apparently has weather something like london, and brisbane, where i live, has weather more like california or florida most of the time, so my winter clothes supply is pretty pitiful.

Often at the end of semesters, rather than spend all my time finishing my uni work, i find myself instead spending all my time writing. the closer i get to assessment, the more obsessed i become. this last semester saw me revisit a story i started at least two and a half years ago (read: before i finished Rapunzel) and i've continued to tinker with it.
until today. a friend of mine read it and approved it for sharing.
i believe it to be recognisably my writing, but at the same time quite different to my other stories. please critique it. i'll be updating installments about three times a week.
21 in 2o1o - review
i had a ball, and the year got away from me. sometimes when i get in a mood i go over my old journal entries, and i think it will be interesting to look at these later on.
thanks for putting up with me - now onto the rest of 2011 and beyond!

i'm not dead. uni just finished for the year, and i have big plans to organise every single thing over these holidays, including dA and my computer hard drive. a proper update will come soon.

Comparing Melbourne and London is wrong, Melbourne isn't that cold, it barely snows when it does.
